research

Each year Richmond Events carries out a number of research projects both with the audience that attend the forum and the wider industry as a whole. Some of the findings available are listed below.

  • Delegates’ buying intentions over the next 12 months.
  • Delegates’ budget increase over the next 12 months.
  • Challenges that keep delegates awake at night.
  • Suppliers’ target markets.
  • Average amount of revenue suppliers’ expect to generate from attending the forum

2007 Major Research Study

Each year Richmond Events carries out one major study seeking the views and opinions of all the main boardroom job titles.

During 2007 more than 1,700 directors and other senior managers from UK businesses attended a Richmond Event. The opportunity to access such a wealth of informed opinion was irresistible. Delegates were asked to complete a questionnaire entitled Up Close and Personal, probing their personal attitudes to work.

The responses from the 1,055 people who returned the questionnaire were both entirely confidential and strictly anonymous. All came from large organisations, typically from the Times 500, or public sector equivalents. This report analyses the results. All data is presented by individual job title, allowing for comparison across the events. Where appropriate the results are also analysed by gender.

If you are interested in viewing any of the above research please contact us and we’ll be in touch with the relevant information.

UK Business Panel

We launched the UK Business panel in January 2007. Our idea was to create the most informed and reliable specialist research audiences available in the UK. Our customers are senior budget-holders across a range of disciplines from major companies, which makes us ideally placed.

We’ve recruited a panel of 600 Directors, heads of departments and senior managers who agreed to answer our questionnaires. The first questionnaire in February 2007 was on the topic of Leadership and the second on The Environment.
